I love this idea from Cindy of the artisan Design Team~ I hope you do too!
She used the Berry Basket Bigz L Die to create a card/tiny gift that would be perfect for a vegetable or flower gardener. For the background, she used the Wild Wasabi striped pattern in the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper.
First, she cut one side of the basket from Kraft card stock and added an additional score line 1/4" below the original score line. Then she cut a piece of Whisper White card stock for the basket’s scalloped edge trim. She added a couple of additional score lines using my Paper Trimmer (as shown). Be sure to have 11 scallops in between with two scallops on each side. Next, she stapled them together, using Fast Fuse to adhere the tab to the card.
This side view shows you how to a form a card pocket. It’s large enough to hold up to two seed packets. She wrapped each seed packet with a Tea Lace Paper Doily and Crushed Curry Baker’s Twine (item # 134586).
I hope that these projects inspire you to snap out of the winter blues and embrace spring.

Making a shaker card has been on my to do list for a few weeks now~ I knew I wanted to try it using fun foam for the shaker part. I thought that this fun foam with our framelits would make it easy to make a shaker card~
Well this weekend I finally remember to pick up some fun foam, so I immediately ran home and made this card. It was pretty easy and fun to make so I made a quick video showing you how to do it too. I should have purchased several sheets of fun foam because now I want to make all kinds of these cards in all of the framelits I have!
I hadn't done Masking for years~ and I am glad I tried that too! I love the look of it.
Here is a video showing how to make the Shaker card and how to Mask:
I hope you give this technique and the shaker card a try~ it really is as easy as it looks!
